The Locations That Various Witnesses Have Been Talking About EDIT ADD SHOTS
Posted by Peter Quennell
Click above for the full series, all shot within 300 meters of Meredith’s house.
Four witnesses on Friday, three on Saturday, and several previously have testified that they saw things in these areas.
This shot above is where Sollecito and Knox may have been seen sitting on a low wall on the night. Near the railing there is a good view down to the gate of the house.
As with all our shots on TJMK, these will expand when you click on them.
Comments
That up-and-down street (Via Degli Scortici) has to be one of the nastiest places for pedestrians in Perugia - there are no footpaths, and given half a chance cars really scream up and down there.
But it is not really a main route in and out of Perugia except to the rural north. The nearest route down to the west - a really fast route down if you can actually find it - is down past the aqueduct right behind the School for Foreigners.
And pedestrians wanting to make it to the top alive often use the stone steps by the park, where at the top is Perugia’s leading gelateria. You can often see people wandering around in the area eating their technicolor gelatios. If Meredith didnt eat those gelatios, we’d be a little surprised.
Kermit has an interesting Powerpoint series here on the history of this whole area. The outer city wall crosses about where the intersection is and it is visible on either side.
Hi all!
My comments do not refer to the places in Perugia. But having problems signing in, I am glad it works.
Good that the innocent Meredith will be given justice.
A woman (not a kid) as Curt Knox put it, being so cold, that she with her limitated brains, comes to the court laughing. The Kerchers are having a bad time. I do not understand that two accused of the same crime, are allowed to speak to each other.
